Lido is a concierge booking service for Newport Beach, California, operated by Paybots, Inc. This policy explains what we collect, why we hold it, who else sees it, and how to have it removed. Write to hello@vialido.ai with anything this page does not answer.
What we collect
- Your account. The email address you sign in with, and your name if you sign in with Google. We do not store a password — there isn't one.
- Your bookings. The reservations you make through Lido: the venue, the time, the party, and any note you add for them.
- Calendar and mail, only if you connect them. Described in its own section below.
- Technical logs. Our servers record requests — IP address, device and browser, time — to keep the service running and to investigate abuse.
Signing in is not connecting your Google account
These are two separate decisions, and one does not imply the other.
- Sign in with Google tells us your email address and name, and nothing else. It reads no mail and no calendar.
- Connecting Google Calendar or Gmail is a second, optional step with its own consent screen. We ask for it so Lido can see when you are free and confirm bookings against your calendar. You can disconnect at any time, in Lido or from your Google account permissions, and we delete the data we held under that grant.
Lido's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit permission, to resolve a problem you have reported, for security, or where the law requires it.
What we use it for
To sign you in, to make and manage the bookings you ask for, to tell you about those bookings, and to keep the service secure and working. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to advertise to you.
Who else sees it
- The venue you are booking. A reservation only exists if the restaurant, club or studio receives your name, the time, the party size and any note you send. Their own privacy practices govern what they do with it.
- The companies that run our infrastructure, principally Amazon Web Services, who host the service and deliver our email. They act on our instructions.
- Anyone the law obliges us to tell, and only as far as it obliges us.
How long we keep it
Your account and booking history stay until you ask us to delete them. Data from a connected Google account is deleted when you disconnect it. Technical logs are kept for a short period and then discarded.
Your choices
Write to hello@vialido.ai to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have your account and its data deleted. Disconnecting Google is immediate and needs no request. California residents have further rights over personal information under state law, and we honour them for everyone rather than only where the law compels it.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit, data is encrypted at rest, and access is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.
Children
Lido is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will say so on this page and, where it matters, by email. The date above always reflects the current version.
